Rates
Our rates vary by therapist and range from $100-$225 per session. Some of our therapists provide services on a sliding scale.  Please inquire about fees when booking your initial appointment.

Insurance
Services may be partially or fully covered by your extended health insurance or employee benefits plan. Please check your coverage by asking the following questions:

  • Do I have coverage for psychological or mental health services?
  • What service providers are covered?
  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
  • How much coverage is there per individual in my family?
  • Is there a deductible?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval/referral required from my primary care physician?

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call your therapist directly at least 24 hours ahead of your appointment.  If you miss a previously scheduled appointment, and you have not notified your therapist in advance, you may be required to pay the full cost of the session as booked.

Confidentiality & Privacy Policy
By law, information that is shared between a client and a health care provider cannot be disclosed without client’s consent. In general, the following exceptions to confidentiality apply:

  • The therapist is concerned about suspected child abuse for which health professionals are required by law to report to appropriate authorities.
  • If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person, we must notify the police and possibly inform the intended victim.
  • If a client discloses an intent to harm him or herself, we will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, we may need to take measures to ensure their safety (eg: call family member, take client to hospital).
  • Under special circumstances, we may be required by law to disclose personal health information (ie: under a court subpoena).
  • If a client reports a past incident of abuse by a health professional and discloses the health professional’s name, we are required to report that individual to their governing college.
